Are You Making Value Investments?

Few things in life are no-brainer investments.

One absolute no-brainer investment for me is my kids.

And not just in their schooling and activities.

Investing in the relationship is by far the most valuable investment!

This past weekend marked the sixth consecutive father/son weekend at Camp Highland.

There has been no better place I’ve found to connect at a heart level with my son through fun and adventure.

This is a most valuable investment!

While investing in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, and commodities can’t come anywhere close to such a relational investment, lessons can be learned from it nonetheless.

It begins by asking, do you know what you’re invested in?

Then, do you know the true value of each investment?

Value often has little to do with price.

In fact, very often price can be a misleading indicator of value.

Making value investments, however, can not only help you be a resilient long-term investor, it can even provide out-sized returns.

Do you know what you’re invested in, and the true value of those investments?

Shouldn’t you know for sure?
