The Fiscal Cliff and Me…Who Cares?

We should all care, but for all the reasons the media doesn’t talk about. The tax outcome will be what it is and affect all of us according to our particular financial situation.

How many of us have the authority to do anything about the decision being made? None of us, really.

So I like to look at what I can control. I can control my thinking about my life and future. I can control my responses to whatever decisions are made in Washington. What value is there in complaining about what is or isn’t being done? None, really.

The best way to get ready for the fiscal cliff is to be convinced in your own mind that you will seize every opportunity in front of you, no matter what the result is.

It’s your choice! Choose you. Choose opportunity. Choose to be positive. Choose to help people. Choose to create. Choose to give back.

And most of all: Choose to make decisions based on your vision of your desired future and not the decisions that are made in Washington.

If you want, you can read more about the technical aspects of the fiscal cliff here, but honestly, it isn’t very helpful.

Choose you!

Choose to avoid the regrets wealth creates by deciding on your big desired future.

I could care less about 2% of the payroll taxes going up on me. You cannot pay for things with tax cuts, you can only fail to pay for things with less income. Second, does anyone really think that this is going to happen for any extended length of time? No.
