Grab your popcorn and blanket! It’s time again for Movies off Main in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Bring your family out to downtown Alpharetta to relax, take a break from your hectic work and home schedule, and watch a movie with others in the community.
There are two upcoming showings. On September 27, watch The Avengers on the big screen as a team of famous superheroes saves the world. The movie starts around 7:30 p.m.
On September 25, prepare for Halloween with Warm Bodies, a love story involving a zombie that shows that even the undead have hearts. The screening will begin around 7 p.m.
Both of the above movies are rated PG-13.
Bring your own blankets and chairs, or whatever will make your viewing experience more comfortable (pillows, snacks, etc.).
The movies will play at dusk on a large inflatable screen on Old Roswell Street. The screening is behind Smokejack and The Treehouse at Sis & Moon, 24 Milton Avenue, Alpharetta.
The movie isn’t all that’s going on, though. Pre-film activities will begin one hour before, with live music, activities for children, and theater-style concession stands. You are also more than welcome to support downtown Alpharetta restaurants by ordering carry-out dinner and taking it to the movie.
Parking is free along Milton Avenue and Milton Center. For more information, visit www.alpharetta.ga.us or call (678) 297-6000.
As a proud Alpharetta business, we at Boomfish Wealth Group, LLC encourage you to spend a great autumn evening downtown with neighbors and friends. The atmosphere is fantastic for families and truly shows how great community bonding can be, even over such a simple event like a free movie.
