Freedom
Most people say they want freedom.
Freedom to… do what they want, when they want, with whom they want, and contribute where they want.
But all too often that freedom remains elusive, especially financial freedom.
This freedom remains particularly elusive for those who are retired.
Most of the time they have done what they thought they needed to do, and often times what they were instructed to do by an advisor or talking pundits in the financial industry.
Freedom has four distinct stages…
Desire.
Ability.
Opportunity.
Experience.
To desire freedom is not enough. You must proactively create the financial ability and seize the opportunities if you truly want to experience an upgrade to a lifestyle of freedom.
Lifestyle freedom IS an upgrade to lifestyle because most in retirement do not experience the lifestyle freedom they desire. This is because, in large part, the financial industry has told people that a retirement lifestyle requires 20% (or more) less than when you were working.
Did you really work and save during your entire working career to be done so you can do less?
Most want to do the same and even more. This is a lifestyle upgrade.
There are three factors to upgrading your retirement lifestyle: your lifestyle experience; your wealth game plan; and your wealth advisor.
Minimize any of the three at the peril of your retirement lifestyle and future.
