The 22nd Annual Taste of Alpharetta festival is coming up May 10 in a new location, 2 South Main St., Hwy. 9, across from Alpharetta City Hall.
It’s the South’s largest “taste of” festival, and organizers say more than 50,000 people come each year to taste good food, appetizers, drinks and desserts.
Taste of Alpharetta is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and admission is free. There is free parking and a shuttle service every 20 minutes by the Ticket Booth on the corner of Roswell Street and Old Roswell Street. There are also some free park and walk locations, including at Alpharetta City Hall.
More than 50 restaurants will be participating, and food prices from 50 cents to $3 per sample. Restaurants you can chose from include, Seven Seas Mediterranean Café, Cold Stone Creamery, Village Tavern, Menchie’s Windward, Rita’s Italian Ice, Jilly’s Cupcakery and Milton’s Cuisine and Cocktails.
